Clickety-Clack Cicada

I have been learning about language features during Literacy. The way we have been doing this is by reading and understanding poems. 

Some of the features we identified in the poems are metaphors, verbs, onomatopoeia, and adjectives. 

This week we read Clickety-Clack Cicada by Jill Brasell and by iroam

We were learning about metaphors some of the language features such as metaphor, onomatopoeia, and verbs.

I found it easy to  drawing the pattern

I found it hard to locate the nouns because it is an area we think we need to work on more

I really enjoyed drawing the pattern too

Aim: Follow these steps to make a Delicious sandwich.

You need

2 slices of Bread

Nutella 

1 banana

Knife 

1. First you get the bread

2.  Then you get the Nutella And the knife .

3.  you put the knife in the Nutella and you Spread the nutella on the bread. 

4.     cut the banana into slices and put it on top of  the nutella

5.  put it together and eat it
