WAL about rotational symmetry Pinwheels We made pinwheels If you make a small pinwheel it spins faster. A bigger pinwheel got stuck on the handle it was too floppy. If you put a fan in front of the pinwheel it spins faster. if you use a bead for a spacer the pinwheel won’t get stuck on the handle.

Matariki Star

Whaea Annie showed us how to weave a Matariki star with coloured paper.

I thought it was very hard. Whaea Annie helped me to finish my star.

Science: Pulleys

We made a pulley to get Mr Grinlings lunch from his house to

the lighthouse.

Pulleys are machines that make work easier.

How many words can I write in ten minutes?

At the start of the term I could write 20 something words.

Now I can write 45 words in ten minutes.

Persuasive Writing- Brushing Teeth.

Brushing  Teeth

Teeth are important to help us to eat our food.

So I think we should brush our teeth every day.

Firstly I think we should brush
our teeth every day so that
our teeth are strong.

Secondly I think we should
brush our teeth every day
because when we  eat the
left over food gets stuck in our teeth
so we need to brush our teeth
to brush the left over food away.

Thirdly I think we should our teeth
every day so the bacteria on our teeth will
get brushed away.
